About On the Ball Dog Training
Lisa Plocinski - CPDT-KA, is the owner and head trainer of On The Ball Dog Training.
Lisa has been training dogs for over 15 years and is certified with the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) as a professional trainer.
Lisa believes in using positive reward based training methods to bring out the best in every dog while building a strong bond of trust between owner and dog. Classes incorporate games and activities so everyone will have fun while learning.
Lisa is also an agility enthusiast and had competed in both CPE and NADAC agility competitions with her now retired Australian Shepherd, Lily. Lisa is now working hard training her 18 month old Aussie, Pono
Lisa and her family are also volunteer puppy raisers for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). CCI is a non-profit organization that trains certified service dogs for people with disabilities.
Lisa and family are currently raising puppy number 7, Allegro. Morgan had a change of career and is now back at home with Lisa and family and he enjoys making therapy visits.
Jean Rosenthal is new to On the Ball Dog Training and is excited to join as an Assistant Dog Trainer. Retired from the corporate world, she is now pursuing her longtime passion for dogs as a 2nd career. Jean has raised dogs for over 15 years and operated a pet sitting/dog walking business. She is currently working on obtaining her certification with CCPDT. In addition to working with CCI puppy Allegro, Jean spends time with her two Mini Australian Shepherds Royal and Juno, Papillon Casey, and Ragdoll cat Riley. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and practicing martial arts where she has achieved the rank of 2nd degree black belt.
